That would be a nice section to have bike lanes on/widened, as the motorists 
there are quite rude to bicyclists and others not going 10 mph over the speed 
limit.  The other problem at the intersection of Anderson and 51 is that the 
light does not change for bikes, and there is(astonishingly, since it's right 
down the street from MATC), no ped button on the south side of the street to 
cross 51, although there is one to cross Anderson (!!).

This stretch of Anderson is one of the worst parts of getting to the Portage 
Road "escape route."  I have gone back roads out of Reindahl Park to get to the 
street (Kingsman??) that goes to the car license place, but crossing 51 there 
is equally painful and bike-unfriendly.
