The Safe Harbor 10K Run for Kids is looking for a pace bicyclist.  A pace bicyclist that is used for a running race rides in front of the first runner on the course, making sure the runners follow the correct route and in general keeping an eye on the front of the race. (a rearview mirror is helpful)

I was the pace bicyclist for this charity run last year, and it was really fun.  It was funny to be "chased" by a bunch of runners (who weren't threatening).  I had to ride faster than
I thought I would have to, but it really wasn't *fast*.  The lead runner will be running just under 6 minute miles.
The 10 K course starts at Vilas Park and goes through the Aboretum counterclockwise.

The Safe Harbor run for kids is Monday, September 5th, and the race starts at 9, so the pace biker should arrive by 8:45am.
