Thanks to all the Bikies that gave me a great time line on key events in the history of Bikies, the Bicycling Community Page, Bike Transportation Alliance, Bike Fed, key city committees, and path development.
Now that I see notes, it all starts to come back. Thanks especially to Mark Shahan, Scott Rose, and Tim Wong. They were there at the start, or close to it. They deserve thanks not only for answering my questions, but for being the push behind so many things. Joe King and Lisa Goodman's name also came up as early innovators. If you see any of these people, please thank them. All of us that do what we do, or have what we have in Madison are only following in their footsteps. Perhaps all this information can be offered in a more structured form - web page, booklet, etc. I think many people both in and out of Madison would like to know how we got to where we did. Thanks to everyone who adds their voices and talent. Almost all the work in the city is done by volunteers, and each effort makes a huge difference.
