Aaron,
I have done it with skinny road tires and it works
just fine, esp if the trail is really dry. The trail
is actually paved from Dousman to Waukesha....the
connection in Waukesha to the New Berlin Trail is a
little convoluted but well-signed. The New Berlin
Trail is a little rougher but easily navigated with
bigger tires.

the east end of this trail comes out at Greenfield
Park in Milwaukee (or West Allis?)where you can take
city streets or bike trails to your destination.
