This just came into my IN box. Thought others might find it interesting.

Tonight, ABC's 20/20 will be featuring the gentleman (Ian Walker?)
that studied the relationship between a helmet wearing bicyclist and
overtaking motor vehicle distances. Additionally, the trailer
mentioned that Canadian and Australian studies (apparently these
countries have some sort of mandatory helmet laws) indicate helmet
laws are ineffective as helmets discourage bicycle use and/or
contribute to higher risk behavior.
I don't brings this up to start another list holy war, I mention it
only so that we may be prepared to respond to potential inquires from
students, coworkers and neighbors that may view the show.
