First of all, I have to say that I think it's charming that the Bikies
troll actually seems of Norwegian descent. Our neighbors in Mount Horeb
will be happy to hear that.

But seriously, I don't see what's wrong with BTA sponsoring an on-line
forum to discuss bike advocacy issues. And it's perfectly reasonable for
BTA to send out candidate questionnaires, endorse candidates based on
their answers, and use the forum they sponsor to publicize their
selections. The Chamber of Commerce endorses candidates, Downtown
Madison, Inc. endorses candidates, the Tavern League and most unions issue
endorsements. Why can't the BTA?

Anyway, the bikies list is not censored and it's not exclusive. Troy
Thiel subscribes to bikies and he was able to post a message on his own
behalf -- nobody stopped him.
