True, but as I "read" it, that quip was pretty obviously consistent with all the other "broad brush" features drawn (we're smug, we run red lights arbitrarily, et al). Now whether the "filmmaker" (using that term loosely) honestly harbored these misconceptions, or was using this piece as a vehicle (d'oh, bad pun) to convey how silly they sound, is hard to determine.
