No, that wasn't me, although I did watch the Jetsons at times.   In
fact, I hadn't thought of the Jetsons in a long, long time, and now I
feel bad for all the hours I squandered on that and Quick Draw McGraw,
when I should have been out developing better social skills...

I just advocate using a helmet mirror so we have a chance of catching
the movement behind us.  

Some bikers sneak up on me in the same way at stop signs they are
blowing, or when a light is turning green, when they should be giving
the required audible alert.

And you know, that's the only way those folks can catch me - when I'm
standing still...  :)

Someone a year of so ago, possibly Jeff Schimpf (sp? sorry!) said that
there ought to be a law that every hybrid has a Jetsons' flying car
noise maker.  I agree - after being surprised several times by Priuses
that just "appeared" next to me, and having been actually been de-biked
by one that clipped me without me being aware that they were there at
all.
