Will BFW be testifying at Tuesday's public hearing in support of
Wisconsin climate change legislation? They should be.

Bicycling in Wisconsin will be adversely effected by global warming and
climate change, as will most everything else.

BFW and I are pleased to let you know that David Vogt of Fitchburg (yah
but he
bikes to work) has been hired and already working as the new Deputy
Executive
Director in the Madison Office. Many of you have noticed that he has
already
been posting on "Bikies".

Dave is a lifelong cyclist who enjoys year-round commuting, road and
mountain
bike racing, charity rides and other silent sports. He lived in the
Netherlands for two years and studied the inner workings of the world’s
best
bicycle infrastructure. He knows what can be.

David brings ten years of sales, consulting and engineering experience to
the
BFW and is looking toward making Wisconsin a great place to bicycle while

advocating for the health, environmental and social benefits of cycling.

Please feel free to stop by the Madison office to meet him, give him a
call
(251-3356) or email him ([EMAIL PROTECTED]). He will be glad to listen
to and
discuss your issues, concerns and vison.
