The idea is to invent a "unique pedal-powered device" in competition for
a top prize of $5k (yawn...) and a bike (snore...) for every member of
your winning team (five finalists get a bike each). And to promote
Specialized's new "Globe" line of bikes. Still, if you already have,
say, a pedal-powered dacquiri blender sitting in the garage, it might be
worth tossing your hat in the ring.
