It's actually not THAT interesting of a question. As a member, I shudder when I see the organization I've chosen to affiliate with demonstrate a collective lack of bearing. Since January, the Bike Fed Board has demonstrated poor judgement in the manner by which they terminated the Executive Director. They displayed poor judgement in how they handled the media fall out (using a "circle the wagons" mentality). They've re-written the Bylaws to allow them to place only their selected candidates on the ballot. As a member, I can keep paying my dues and say nothing. To me, that course of action suggests that I agree with decisions of the Board. I do not. I take exception to the term "whining" as it connotes someone that complains but does nothing. I'm suggesting a positive course of action and actively pursuing it. At this time, I'd like to "officially" declare my campaign kick off for the BFW Board. Please vote for me, Aaron and Joel. I would humbly suggest that you not vote for Ken, Eric and Chick. I encourage others to put their names up for write-in purposes. Shortly, I will be posting a web site with information about my campaign (why I'm doing it, who I am, etc). Don't you feel like there should be bunting? No election is complete without bunting!
