I deleted the thread on the young boy who was killed recently so I'll start over. Criminal charges were filed against a 35 year old man in the traffic crash resulting in the death of a 13 year old cyclist. He was charged with hit and run resulting in death, a felony and two counts of hit and run causing injury as well as possession of drug paraphernalia ( he had a crack pipe in his pocket when arrested.). If convicted of all charges he could be imprisoned more than 26 years. One of the boys told investigators that the three friends were going to one of their houses to drop off some bugs for a school project and that they were biking to a gas station to buy snacks when the crash occurred. The boy who was killed was standing on the rear pegs of the bikes while a friend pedaled. Witnesses say they saw the car strike the boys from behind " without slowing down ... or hitting the brakes." the complaint says. Source: The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
