Both a coworker & I both were surprised, for some reason, to learn that a yard
was 3 feet. I knew that but it still surprised me... Well, our coworker who
mentioned it brought in yard sticks for me & her to help us visualize, etc.
So, what I'm thinking for a advocacy campaign would be to have yard sticks
made w/the BFW info & a website for folks to reference. We could hand them out,
similar to what they do @ home shows. This would be a great way for folks to
physically see the distance they're supposed to provide & a yard stick can
still be useful.
Just an idea & I think they'd be somewhat cheap to make since they're often
handed out for free @ places (i.e. home shows, carpet stores, hardware stores,
etc.). We could check...
