Funny thing is, the bylaws allow photocopies of the original as well as the
original. Yet there is apparently no means to determine, once the ballot is
mailed, who actually is sending it - other than perhaps the post mark on the
envelope.  If you forget to include a return-address on your envelope (the
provided envelope uses the BFW stationary pre-printed return address) how does
the BFW ballot counting committee know that the ballot is from a paid member?
This situation seems ripe for ballot box stuffing shenanigans.

We're mailing our single ballot today, I hope in time.  (Although there are two
of us on a single-household membership, it is really a "single" membership and
we get only one vote.  Clarified through an exchange with Jack Hirt.)

according to the 2007 calandar on my wall here. . . 
wednesday is october 31st
thursday is november 1st
friday is november 2nd

would an employee or executive board member provide clarity as to when the
deadline for completed ballot submission is due?.
