The Bikies list is not Bughouse Square, and it's not supposed to be. Bughouse Square was a place where anybody could stand up on a soapbox and hold forth on any subject. Listeners could heckle and disagree if they wanted, but I don't think it was permissible to hijack the discussion and change the subject: if a speaker was urging his listeners to defend Sacco and Vanzetti, it was not OK to demand a speech on evolution instead. If you wanted to talk about evolution, you could get your own soapbox and go to the other side of the Square.
The Internet as a whole may be a kind of Bughouse Square (or maybe it's just a bughouse...) but the bikies list is just one of the soapboxes. Nobody is censored on this list, but we're basically here to talk about strategies for making Madison (and the world) more bike-friendly. No one is keeping Eric from posting here, but he is not empowered to set the terms of discussion. If he wants to talk about the "Austrian School" or whatever, he should get his own soapbox and go somewhere else.
