When I was a student ('91-'95). It was well known that if you did not have a
light after dark, you would get a $40 ticket. Period. Running a stop sign was
also a sure ticket. The bike cops were everywhere, and I wouldn't have had the
nerve (or stupidity) to not have a front light. Whatever happened to that?? I
know the 20-somethings aren't quite as sharp these days, so maybe we need some
enforcement.
