Thanks for listening Aaron. Listening though, is just the first step.
I suspect the hard part will be convincing the board members who chose
not to attend to properly prioritize the needs expressed by Madison area
bicyclists last night. As the BFW strategic planning process unfolds I
am hoping to hear news of a vigorous debate where board members held
their ground and stuck to their principles. Thousands of bicyclists in
the Madison area are counting on the BFW board to set a direction that
meets their needs.

As the process moves forward, I strongly urge you and the other board
members to solicit advice from the extremely experienced pool of
advocates we have here in Madison.

Subject: [Bikies] Madison Listening Session

Thank you to all who attended yesterday's listening session. I felt it
was a great opportunity for me personally to hear from all who spoke &
got some good ideas moving forward. What I gathered the most was
actively engaging the public & making BFW more visible on issues that
pertain to bicycling, especially education aimed at motor vehicle
operators.
