Thank you to all who attended yesterday's listening session. I felt it was a
great opportunity for me personally to hear from all who spoke & got some good
ideas moving forward. What I gathered the most was actively engaging the public
& making BFW more visible on issues that pertain to bicycling, especially
education aimed at motor vehicle operators.
I think moving forward, I'd like to see us branch out & become more open &
democratic. It's a member-based organization that needs it's members to survive
& be effective, so we should embrace member's ideas, which I think this
listening session provided a start. I'd also like to see us work towards
greater communications, including electronic, telephone, & print.
Again, thank you to those of you who were able to make it & to those of you
who submitted written statements. From what I understand, we may have some info
from the mtg posted to the website at www.bfw.org.
Happy Holidays!
