The author never mentions exactly what this Midwest governors' "global
warming plan" is.  How exactly would it expand government or impinge
upon property rights?  Without such a revelation and analysis, it is
vacuous writing, even for an opinion piece.

I second that.  It makes me wonder how much the J.S. got paid for publishing 
it.  What's even more amazing is that some people (I won't name any names) 
actually still take this kind of diatribe seriously.  (Future generation will
