Excuse me for talking deathmobiles on this list, but it is kinda topical. There's a roadside assistance group called Better World Club, that presents itself as an alternative to the pro-car lobby embodied by AAA. The coverage also includes bicycle breakdown pickup service.
Thing is, almost every time we've used it for our, ahem, cars, there've been problems. They only authorize a certain amount, or the wait is several hours, one thing or another. I'm this close to dropping them for the Wal-Mart of road service (AAA). Does anybody here have BWC? Have you used it for a bike breakdown? How has the service been, in general?
