I am often frustrated that there is so much great work going on (and yet to be
done) in the bicycle advocacy community, but often we are preaching to the
choir...it's always the usual suspects. I am doing this column at Dane101 in
an effort to expand the circle of discussion to new faces. I want to bring new
advocates into the fold...and also get information out to people who could be
friendly faces even if they aren't bicyclists...but maybe they don't yet
understand. I want bicycling and bicycling advocacy to be something talked
about in a positive light beyond the confines of the bikies list. I want new
blood in the fold.
If anyone would like to promote their special niche of cycling, shoot me an
email and I'll try to work it into a post. I know alot about bicycling in
Wisconsin, but I'm sure that I don't know even half of what is going on.
Whatever you give me will be filtered through my own opinions, but I'm open to
new ideas if you have them.
