Last year they stopped by Madison...but sounds like they won't this year.

Subject: [milbtw] frozen snot century
I got a call from a Chicago cyclist asking about the frozen snot century this
year. There are already a number of penny heads who want to ride up. I know
of a couple people from Milwaukee who have expressed some interest. Please
email me if you are interested. The ride would most likely be the first
weekend in March or the last weekend in February. The Chicagoans would ride up
on Friday and stay on couches/floors here with volunteer home stays. We ride
down to Chicago Saturday, crash of people's couches (or stay in hotel if you
want). Then ride back on Sunday.
Although this is a rain, sleet, snow or shine ride, you can always decide not
to go if the weather looks really bad. It is also possible to ride to Kenosha,
take Metra to Chicago and do the opposite on the way back. That makes it about
45 miles each way, bikes roll right on Metra and it only costs about $5 for the
whole weekend pass.
This is a bikewinter activity that has been going on for a number of years.
See more info at www.bikewinter.org.
Email me at [EMAIL PROTECTED] if you are interested or have questions. Feel
free to forward this to anyone you think might be interested.
