Discovery site

I will try to find out what the scoop is. In the meantime, it would probably
help to have people email and ask this question of the following people:

Eli Judge - alder for the district
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

Dan McCormick - Traffic Engineering
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

Al Fish - Associate Vice Chancellor at UW - Facilitites and Plannning
Management
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

Rob Kennedy - UW Transportation Service (and year-round bicyclist)
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

Ask to see the traffic management plan for the construction phase of the
development.

Also point out what a disaster the "no pedestrians, use other side" BS
was/is during the construction of University Square. That "bike land" is
being used by people biking in both directions, as well as people walking in
both directions. It has lead to considerable tension among all users of this
tiny strip of roadway.
