The eastbound bike lane and a westbound motor vehicle travel lane are only closed temporarily, hopefully just a day or two, while they reconfigure things. The median between the eastbound bike lane and westbound travel lane is being removed. From the south curb, there will be a 6 foot pedestrian area, a fence, an 8 foot eastbound bike lane, a concrete barrier, then the westbound travel lanes.

Starting at 10 this morning, they have been ripping out the bike lane. There's no bike detour --- only one of the dreaded "Bike Lane Closed" signs. _______________________________________________ Bikies mailing list [email protected] http://www.danenet.org/mailman/listinfo/bikies _______________________________________________ Bikies mailing list [email protected] http://www.danenet.org/mailman/listinfo/bikies
