OK, you can sort of ignore my previous message on this project. Sort of.

I was reading my emails backwards, and now that I see where the proposal is
- essentially around the eastern edge of DeForest, not coming down into
Madison, my comments regarding the lake and Cherokee Marsh are irrelevant.

However, if there is going to be any development along this new "freeway,"
pedestrians and bicyclists will still have to access those locations. There
has to be a frontage road if it is a freeway, right? That road should have
sidewalks, and possibly bike lanes, depending on the volume of traffic on
the frontage road. Also, all interchanges should have crosswalks and clear
bike-friendly ways to get across merging and diverging traffic.
