I have begun to make inquiries and raise concerns at Meriter. Unfortunately, working through "channels" hasn't proved helpful yet (it has only been a week since the rumors got to the this-is-real stage). Another issue is that Meriter has gone through a management make-over with the retirement of the old guard and new, from-out-of-town C-level management put in place over the last year. The new management style seems more top-down than before.
Meriter had or has a "parking committee" and I'll try to find out who that is and see if they are open to raising multimodal transit as a necessity in the site selection. If they are open to expertise on non-mv considerations, I'll see if they'd consider meeting with someone (you?) from Dane Co. Bicycle Transportation Alliance or others.
