Al Matano (the current County Supervisor representing Shorewood Hills
and an area just south of that) is having a final lit drop this weekend
for his re-election campaign.

Al has been a great supporter of Bicycling ever since I first met him at
the Harmony Bar when Mike Barrett and other SASYNA's organized the bike
path patrols after a series of muggings. Al has been my primary contact
for all things bikie at the county level and has done a great job
keeping me informed in my quest to help keep all of you informed.

I might also add that when On-Air wingnut Vicki McKenna speaks about Al
Matano on her show, she does so with a special tone of disgust that
always gives me a chuckle. Anybody that can infuriate Vicki McKenna
that much has got my vote.

Details:

It'll be at Al Matano's House, but Al will be taping a League of Women
Voters face-off with his opponent. So it will be hosted by Lukas Diaz,
Director of Team Al.

Saturday, March 8
10:00 to Noon
3745 Ross Street
at Glenway, near the Glenway Golf Course, Village Bar, and the
cemeteries.

If you can help, but not during these hours, please contact Al or Lukas.

And please come to Al's fundraiser on Sunday, with or without checkbook.

Sunday, March 9.
3 to 5 p.m.
at the home of Susan Schmitz and Gary Peterson
210 Marinette, off of South Hill off of Whitney near Mineral Point.
