*BikeSmart Poster Contest Judging, Madison* Another opportunity is to participate in the judging of the BikeSmart Poster Contest posters, Thursday April 17th from 6 pm - 8 pm at the Main Public Library in Downtown Madison on West Mifflin on the second floor. We'll have more than 300 posters to review and select the top 10 for further review by the Governor's Bicycle Coordinating Council on whose behalf we coordinate this program. *Winners Wear Helmets, Milwaukee *Winners Wear Helmets is an annual program to teach children about the importance of using a bicycle helmet, and to fit and distribute a free helmet to each participating child. Approximately 600 MPS 3rd graders from 10 schools will participate. In addition to the helmet distribution/fitting station and a bike rodeo, demonstration stations provide professionals speaking on the importance of wearing a helmet. The Bicycle Federation is a partner in this program and needs your help to fit over 300 kids with over 300 helmets.
