Following Al Matano's line of thinking, I present this proposal: How about we organize a "Thuy Pham-Remmele ride for real people" from western hills park, past Thuy's house (perhaps she could come with us via pedicab if she doesn't think she has the bike/fitness level to make it herself) to the bike to work week final fiesta at Vilas Park. The ride should feature "clothes hanger" bikes, husky or older or less fit riders, and families with kids in tow. We could even create some awards of achievement for participants. Along the way, we could stop at a grocery store and pick up some groceries - perhaps have a mock "drop the kids off at school" demonstration. What do you think? -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of john earp Sent: Friday, April 11, 2008 7:06 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [Bikies] Big, Overweight ,and rides the big tire bike all over the place To the alder whom asks that question in reference to weight and size , I'm living proof that 300lb plus does ride bike year around , and there's companies that exploit the weight issue, and there's bicycles capable of up to 600lb weight load, thats me , the skinny alder , plus a picnic basket lunch, ye-haw,,, signed "gombonzo" hear me a-comin... __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
