For those who remember Jess Bullen, the wonderful woman, community activist, and dedicated bicyclist killed several years ago riding outside Madison, you may be interested to help out with a new memorial to her being constructed near Quann Gardens (another of her passions.) The web page above also has information about donating to the garden/orchard. Bicycle Federation also had a fund, which I assume still exists, in her name to do motorist education. April 19th 1-5pm: First workday to plant trees. May 10th 1-5pm: Second workday to lay sod, plant flowers for the rain garden, and build a turtle. May 24th 3-4:30pm: Dedication ceremony. Please join us for these Saturdays! Rain dates for the workdays will be Sunday.
