What: Open House for the 2008 Bicycle and Pedestrian System Plan When: Wednesday, May 21, 6:00-8:30 PM Where: Council Chambers at Fitchburg City Hall This is to notify you of an upcoming Open House for the draft 2008 Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan. JN Design and Planning has prepared an update to the 2000 Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan and the draft plan is now ready for public comment. You can view it at: http://www.city.fitchburg.wi.us/transportation/bicycle_facilities.php The plan consists of recommendations for improved bicycle and pedestrian transportation systems, including bicycle parking facilities. Two maps have been prepared, one for the pedestrian system and one for the bike system, which illustrate both the existing and proposed facilities for walking and biking.
