The path crossing at Highland Ave. is scheduled to be improved before the official opening. A crosswalk will be painted, but more importantly, the signal and stop bar will be moved north so that motorists stop before they block the crosswalk.

Highland can be a very busy street, and it's not easy to find a gap in traffic during rush hour. To make matters worse, northbound cars block the path when they are stopped by the signal at the Campus Drive on-ramp. Perhaps this issue will be dealt with by the time the path officially opens, but in its current configuration it could be ugly at times.
