Some saboteur shattered two different items that were made of glass on the Capital City Trail between Dempsey and Dennett. People riding in the dark will most likely run over one of these areas. That Royster-Clark area is the vandels playground, I guess.
After I ran over the first area of broken glass (I avoided the second area), I stopped and spun each tire while gently brushing the tire with one hand. I learned to do that years ago. The idea is to brush off any shards of glass before the the shards dig deeper and puncture the tire. Was I doing this in vain?
