How's this:

Road rage conflict lands one man in hospital, another in jail

Posted: Nov 24, 2008 02:31 PM CST Madison (WKOW) -- from Madison PD:  On
Saturday evening, Madison Police were called to a local hospital after a road
rage incident that had ended with one driver being struck in the head.
The victim says he was exiting from the West Beltline onto Fish Hatchery Road
when the driver of another car tried to pull in front of him.
The victim said he did not slow down for this other driver, and that the
other driver then accelerated some more.
He said that the other driver cut him off and slammed on his brakes, which
caused the victim to do the same.
The drivers ended up pulling over and getting into a confrontation.
The Madison police say the two men then got into a physical confrontation,
and the victim hit in the head with a weapon the victim described as a police
baton.
The police were not able to recover the weapon, but did arrest 29-year-old
Jason M. Humphrey of Cambridge and tentatively charged him with First Degree
Reckless Endangering Safety.

Dear Paul,

I have yet to see one car driver jump out and wrestle another to the ground and
go into a kicking assault.  Nor have I heard of car divers following another
home and going into such an assault.
You must not read the newspapers much.
