Not sure if folks know about this or not... Check out www.bcycle.com. It's a bike share program that's now in Denver but I'm not sure where else. Looks interesting & they have a module to make a request to get B-cycle in our community, inlcuding sending a message to your Mayor. See the "Who Wants It More?" link.
