Good catch Matt.

As many of you know, the federal $s for Bike/Ped projects in Wisconsin have remained flat for several years. As STP funds have increased the % devoted to Bike/Ped has gone down.

We set out a few months ago 1) to get an increase in funds and 2) get a state source of funds for Bike/Ped. This was the cornerstone of our legislative ask during the Bike Summit in late April. The Bike Fed has been working diligently with legislators since that time for these increases.

Though this Joint Finance win is an important nothing is certain until the ink dries on the budget. When this gets to the governor, we'll put a call out for everyone to express their support.
