Jeff's near accident seems to be what the published studies found was the
most common type of cyclist accident at roundabouts:  The cyclist
circulating in the roundabout is not seen and given the right-of-way by a
motorist entering the roundabout.  You could call this the roundabout
version of the "right cross".
