Tim and group,

The composition and appointment authority of the RTA board is
established by the state statute. The county board has no authority to
change this, so I don't think they'll discuss it much. The only
authority the county board has is to establish the RTA or not. I agree
with you that Madison is terribly underrepresented (22% of the board to
represent about 70% of the population) but there's nothing we can do
about it without legislative action.
