It's a shame that chain cases aren't more widely available. I just clean the chain twice a year, when I swap the tires. They don't work with derailleurs, of course, but Madison commuting doesn't really require a wide range. (Witness all the single-speed commuters.) Breezer only uses the chain case on their high-end commuter bike, but that needn't be the case. (I bought a spare for $40.) It would probably fit most any 26 inch 3/7/8 speed, but it requires a brazed on tab by the bottom bracket for mounting, and I haven't been able to figure out how to get around that. There ought to be an opportunity here to either market a modestly priced bike (3 speed?), or a chain case retrofit kit.
