St Paul actually runs NW - SE (I had to check on the map. I get a bit turned around with my cardinal directions by curving around the lakes.)
The article said "suffered minor injuries," but I note that the windshield was cracked, rear view mirror torn off, and the victim was carried a distance before landing on the ground. Yikes. Hit from behind, at night, by a drunk driver is what everyone fears. One reason I'm hesitant to ride at bar time. (This crash was at 2:30 AM) I also make sure I'm lit up like a Xmas tree. Wonder is anyone on the list knows more about the circumstance or condition of the bicyclist. That's a big Bikie-zone.
