I don't know about whether it was or wasn't three feet, it would depend on the width of the lane (more specifically the cleared width of the lane, not the snow covered part) and how far inside the bicyclist was. If the bus driver had maintained three feet from the stripe there would have been no question as to whether he maintained the legal clearance of the bicyclist Also take a look at their #3. Hmmm.... ---- The paper does quote the state statute, and I'll assume it is correct that it is three feet. That is different from my prior understanding of AZ law because I've seen signs for 5 feet (not just 3) in Tucson.
