Regarding the hose-type counters not counting anything lighter than a Yugo, is there no video analysis software program that can differentiate between a car, truck, bike, pedestrian, and raccoon? It seems that with facial recognition software as advanced as it is, the technology for more accurate video-based counters must be available.
