So where can I get me some of those "prairie pants"?....

Anybody know if there are plans to deal with the forest of Japanese knotweed by
the
cemetary? That stuff can be destructive; I received an Email on an invasive
species
listserv the other day, noting that a British family could not get a mortgage
on their
home because the knotweed roots had undermined the foundation. Too bad it's on
an old
rail corridor, and thus some pretty toxic soil; that much knotweed could treat
a LOT of
Lyme patients.

But indeed, otherwise the native sitch on the in-town paths is most impressive,
esp. in
contrast to the garlic mustard monocultures on the Glacial Drumlin and Military
Ridge
trails.
