We are looking for an experienced executive level individual with passion, creativity, and a commitment to our mission to take the International Program to the next level. ** *Primary Responsibilities* - Significantly increase the number of chapters in the US and overseas - Support the growth of and provide resources to improve existing chapters - Expand the Board of Directors to include prominent individuals from across the nation committed to and versed in aspects of the mission - Increase grants and donations significantly from high-profile funders beyond the bicycling industry - Develop a broad-based marketing and public relations plan to raise the awareness of the existence of Trips for Kids - Develop stronger ties with national and international bicycling and recreational industries - Form critical alliances with other national youth organizations - Encourage the growth of new chapters - Manage the day to day operation of the International Program *Qualifications* - Demonstrated strong management skills - managing people, planning and budgeting for a nonprofit or a for-profit organization - Proven fundraising and corporate sponsorship experience - Experience evaluating and improving processes in a dynamic organization - Knowledge of workings of non-profit organizations - Effective oral and written communication skills are essential.
