I am informed that WDOT is conducting a study of possible additional street crossings of the Beltline and a crossing at Perry Street is one of the concepts to be studied. In addition to providing a crossing for peds/bikes, a full street crossing would allow for emergency access vehicles, to more quickly access the industrial area south of the Beltline rather than having to use the increasingly congested Fish Hatchery crossing.
