Bike Valet at the Downtown Farmer's Market, Saturday, Sept. 11, 7:30am - 2:30pm: Located across from the Capital on West Main Street, the free and convenient 20by2020 Valet Bike Parking is just like a coat check for bikes. Show up, hand over your bike to the 20by2020 bike valet, and go enjoy the Farmer's Market. No need to worry about your bike. The 20by2020 staff will keep a close eye on it till you come back! Look for the bike parking signs to guide you in the right direction. The valet is open from 7:30 am - 2:30 pm. We are still in need of volunteers to help out at the Valet! Madison By Bike: Resource Hour and Guided Tour,
Sunday, Sept. 19, 1 - 4pm, Law Park near Machinery Row
Have you considered going to work, the grocery store, or Sunday church by bike but not sure which route to take or what type of bike gear you might need? Attend Madison By Bike and talk with local, friendly Madisonians about how to bike around your neighborhood. Volunteers will be on hand from 1 - 2pm to answer your questions and to show you how to use the free City of Madison bike map.
At 2pm, join We Are All Mechanics, Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin, and 20by2020 for a relaxed, 7-mile guided tour of the bike paths downtown and Madison's near east side. This friendly event is perfect for anyone who wants to experience more of Madison by bike or for those bicycling veterans who want to enjoy a fun, relaxing Sunday ride.
