The press release is written from a really pro-bike stance (which is cool!), but is lacking in information on how this helps officers do their jobs more effectively. Does anyone have a good article on how cops on bikes do their jobs better than cops in cars or cops on foot, or what new approaches this combined bikes-on-cars option allows them?
(While I take it for granted that adding bikes to anything makes that thing better, this is not a universally-held belief.)
