Steve - Glad to hear you survived with relatively minor injuries. I was involved in a similar incident, during the Bike the Barns: riding east on Mineral Point Road, west of the beltline, a man traveling west made a left hand turn to go into a gas station, and didn't see me - I think he was focused on an on-coming car. Fortunately, he went slowly and I was able to partially swerve around the front of his car; then he saw me as I went down. He said he didn't see me. I got out of it with just a scraped elbow.
