Hello Bikies,

Be sure to pedal on over to Olbrich Gardens to check out the Spring Flower
show, running daily March 5-20th. A new spin this year, the show will
include an artistic and historical bike show and a raffle for a uber-cool
Bamboo Road Bike from Organic Bikes!

Here are the details:

*Spring Flower Show – Tour de Fleur*

*March 5 – 20, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. daily*

Immerse yourself in the splendor of spring, and take a journey through the
history of bicycles at Olbrich’s Spring Flower Show – Tour de Fleur. The
show is open March 5 through 20, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. A $2 donation
is suggested.

Historic and artistic bikes populate this bright, indoor scene of fragrant
spring flowers. Start your journey of historical bicycles with one of the
earliest bikes, a pedal-less velocipede. Then see another well-known
historical bike, the penny-farthing, with its very large front wheel.
Visitors can then walk through the evolution of triangle frame bikes.

Also see a 'living bike' covered with micro-greens and bike parts creatively
used as artwork including a bright blue sculpture of bike sprockets hanging
from the ceiling.

Be sure to try your luck because a second winner will be drawn to receive a
Henry Vilas Zoo 100th Anniversary Cycling Team Jersey and Bibs, donated by
the Friends of the Zoo.

Tickets for the raffle are available from March 5 through June 30 at
