I'll be writing part of an article on beer and bicycling trips in Wisconsin and am soliciting some of your favourite routes that combine these two great pursuits. I'm thinking mostly about breweries and brewpubs, and about state trails (or county/other local trails). For example, The 400, for example, has easy access to the Corner Pub brewpub in Reedsburg. New Glarus and Grumpy Troll have state trails very close by. You get the idea. But if you have favourite routes that are near good pubs with craft beers on tap or on bike-friendly roads, those are fine, too. Keep in mind that the feature is for a craft beer audience. We're not interested in the bike route that includes a PBR/Schlitz kind of place that, no matter how cool the place might otherwise be, does not offer any craft beers on tap.
I'll be writing about Wisconsin, but my co-authors will be writing about other states in the Great Lakes region (from New York and Ontario and around the lakes west to Minnesota), so if you have a favourite bike/beer route in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, et cetera, you can send me something on that, too.
